I recently found a great resource "High Tech Home Ec" by Ramona Hatch that has wonderful projects utilizing technology in the FACS classroom. One of the projects is a Fantasy FACS league in which students draft players from six different FACS areas on to their team. Areas listed are Chefs/Food Writers, Interior Designers, Consumer and Money Advisors, Fashion Designers, Nutrition and Fitness professionals and Parenting/Relationships consultants. It looks really interesting and I was wondering if anyone has tried this activity or something similar?
