Participants will start out analyzing the lyrics of a song with a credit theme or put together puzzle pieces with a financial statistic on them from the Financial Statistics Puzzle Active Learning Tool. They will then conduct a worksheet on alternative lending hazards as well as evaluate a credit contract on The Big Bling Credit Card Agreement Disclosure worksheet. Conclusion options include the News Interview Activity where participants find a consumer credit lending news story and present it in a news format, or calculate whether individuals in the scenario cards can “Handle the Debt”, or help Cesar choose an automobile by evaluating loan options. One assessment options has students researching alternative credit and creating a visual display.
