’Round the Bases Active Learning Tool provides an opportunity for students to review important content from any unit prior to completing an assessment. The baseball game format is staged just like America’s favorite pastime and designed to be played in a friendly, competitive format that requires everyone in the class to be engaged (in other words, no one stays in the dug-out for this activity; everyone will eventually have a chance “at bat”). Teams are encouraged to cheer on their teammates as they step up to the plate to answer a question or define a vocabulary term from the unit of study, but it is also beneficial for all players to listen closely to the questions posed to each team at bat so that a total review of terms and content is achieved prior to completing the assessment.

‘Round the Bases can be used to reinforce vocabulary or to review concepts from a variety of lessons. Questions specific to The Fundamentals of Investing  are provided.
