The National Master Educator Program is the outcome of our Fellowship Recognition Program. In 2001, the Fellowship Recognition Program began with an elite core of Montana family and consumer sciences teachers. The goal was to utilize their teaching talents to assist in the design of a semester-long family finance curriculum, which was to become Take Charge of Your Finances.
In 2004, a Teacher Ambassador program was assembled to test the semester course that the Fellowship members had created.
The Fellowship Recognition Program matured into the Master Teacher Program in 2004 and then into the National Master Educator Program in 2009. Master educators who participate in the program provide ongoing guidance to the project through curriculum editing and development, support newly trained educators and conduct educational sessions around the country. It is the continued collaboration with educators that strengthens the curriculum and distinguishes Take Charge Today’s educator training.
The National Master Educator team is the Take Charge Today program’s most influential and elite team. This group of dedicated professionals work to continually enhance all components of the Take Charge Today program, ensuring it remains relevant and engaging for educators throughout the United States.
