Estate planning for teens. Teens are not too young to start and an honest conversation is the first step. The vocabulary activity has participants playing the card game, “Memory”. There are 2 options for anticipatory sets, either News Headline where they find current news related to estate issues or Think-Pair-Share after reading “Estate Planning: 16 Things to Do Before You Die.” Conclusion options include “Stay Hungry”, which has participants doing a summary from a Steve Jobs Commencement Speech, playing “Memory”, or having a guest speaker. The assessment options include “Grandma Dottie’s Gift”, where they write a letter or watch a movie related to estate planning like Mr. Deeds, From Prada to Nada or The Ultimate Gift.
