Teaching entrepreneurship can foster a culture of innovation. These skills are valuable in many aspects of life, not just in business. This lesson focuses on innovation and creativity in developing products and services to solve customer problems.
Students will create Quiz Me Cards for vocabulary, they will either do a scribble drawing or brainstorm alternate uses for a common product in their anticipatory set, they will work through the 3-step process of coming up with a business idea by practicing generating ideas and being creative. A conclusion option involves brainstorming innovative solutions using “How Would You Solve This Problem?” Cards and an assessment option includes creating a prototype of a solution to a problem.
