For anyone planning to attend college for the first time, the process can be exciting. When adding the dilemma of how to pay for it all, the process might become overwhelming. Use this lesson to build student awareness about FAFSA, federal aid, student loans, grants and scholarships. Participants will conduct a scavenger hunt for vocabulary words, use the jigsaw strategy for building content knowledge in a small group activity, and calculate the costs of obtaining a higher education degree for a specific career.
