The best way to take charge of your future is to plan for it. The decision to invest in our human capital through formal and informal training is one of the most important financial decisions we can make. By starting the career planning process early, we will save time and money. Participants will do the News Headline Active Learning tool by using articles on the rising cost of postsecondary education, current employment rates and salary trends. Participants will use the Occupational Handbook and O*NET to help Imani, Ezekiel and Maria plan for their higher education. In the assessment options, participants will think about their own career pathway planning by completing a worksheet or doing SMART goals or playing Career Paths Fly Swatter Facts.
